Hi All!
Lindsay's been after me to post for a while and I decided she was right - My Everything needs some love, especially since the book is moving up the ranks on Fictionwise - I think it's now ranked somewhere between 13th and 15th in the Romance category...and the cover is hot - one of the best covers a book of mine has had!
Here's the official blurb:
Security consultant Ben McCall is alone. His wife and unborn child are dead, victims of an assassination attempt meant for someone else. Grieving, he disappears. When his best friend is in danger Ben resurfaces, only to find his friend isn’t the target of a murderer, he is.
Grace Adams is one of the walking wounded. Her husband died two years ago. One night she is incapacitated. A man comes to her aid. He’s the man she fell in love with years before, Ben McCall. As the passion between them reignites, Grace too becomes a target of the madman who stalks Ben.
Here's the unofficial story behind the book - I dreamed this book from start to finish. Really. No kidding. I had to stop a work in progress so I could get My Everything out in one piece. I fell in love with Ben and Grace, so much so that I gave them a epilogue...everything simply had to turn out well for them. I felt compelled to give them back what they'd each lost and then some. Readers seem to feel the same way, that Ben and Grace deserve happiness.

My Everything sounds a beautiful, compelling story, Julia. I wish you well with it.
And the way it came to you - I wish I had dreams like that!
Seriously, it was clearly a story and characters that were calling within you and keen to share. The moments of such muse-inspiration are always special.
The cover is superb! I love Grace's tattoo!
Thanks, Lindsay! There's a reason for the tattoo, but you'll have to read the book to find out what it is.
I'll happily give "My Everything" some love! I love the title, the concept and I really love the new cover! I think it's wonderful "My Everything" was allowed to spread its wings and find a loving audience for this well reviewed book.
XXOO Kat
Thank you, Kat! I think it's nice too!
Julia, congrats on your success.
Sounds like an awesome read. I have had dreams like that. But I couldn't get the epic entirety down on paper, at the time.
However, lots of my stories begin with dreams and also I dream during the writing process.
Keep on rising up the list...
I have loved this book all three times I have read it! LOL!
Thanks, Fran!
Savanna, I totally believe in lucid dreaming! I've had two stories appear in dreams, My Everything and Captured.
Julia, that is a gorgeous cover! Who was your cover artist?
Captured from your blurb and excerpts is so intense, I believe it!
Lovely to hear the way this novel came about - and that you could bring it to fruition with such aplomb.
Savanna, the cover model is Jimmy Thomas - he gives great covers! LOL!
The artist is Cris Griffin.
Thanks, Linda. It worked out well!
Julia, thanks. Jimmy Thomas does give great covers. He part of Branded.
I'll have to keep Cris Griffin in mind.
