Thanks for having us here!!! I'm dressing up in a cat's costume, in honor of my heroine's costume in my story for the sweet Halloween anthology, entitled 'Go on without me.' Lydia loses her whiskers on the table, but still has her tail when she meets hunky Ian. I want to dress like her!

Hi Lindsay!
Thanks so much for having us here today!I am so proud to be a part of the stimulating version of A HALLOWEEN COLLECTION. Do you know I have never been to a costume party before? Even as a little kid, I don't think I ever did. So this will be my first one, and I'm thinking I will probably be dressed at my old Gypsy fortuneteller in ALWAYS AND FOREVER. She knew exactly what was in the cards for Gage and Cindy! LOL

Hey everyone! If I have time to get myself up this year, I'll either be the Housewife from Hell (again - it just is so satisfying to me!), or I may wear my Renaissance gown that I made when I was playing flute for the Madrigal Feaste in WY. The treat I would bring is kitty litter cake - awesome recipe found online - and it looks very real!

Shoot, I've been wondering what to wear at a party where my husband may or may not accompany me.

Maybe I can explain HE'S dressed as the hero of Honor Cafe!

Hi Gang,
Thanks for joining the party. In all the excitement I forgot to tell you about my costume. I am dressed as a beautiful redheaded witch named Trudy in my long flowing purple caftan. Now if I could just find my hero, Simon, to adorn my arm, everything would be perfect. I may turn him into a frog is he doesn't show up soon.

Charlotte,
We would love the recipe for the kitty litter cake. I've heard it is very good and does look convincing.

I believe this is the recipe I used:

A friend said that she was glad to know I didn't have a cat!

Charlotte!!!
That pic does look real. I doubt there would be many takers on a piece of that one. LOL Of course once I smelled the chocolate I would close my eyes and eat away.

Ooooh, this year's costume... hmmm... I think a witch seductress in a long black velvet gown, adorned by glimmering gold and silver stars and crescent moons... with black spiderweb gloves encrusted with tiny rhinestones... and dangly, very long earrings that are glittery to the max.

Oh, and my cinnamon brownies were always a hit, but it was a recipe I threw together.

Congrats, Ladies, on your anthologies and cauldron fulls of sales.

Lindsay Townsend said...

Congratulations, ladies on your glorious costumes and your super anthology! I wish you much success with it!

Thanks so much for having us here. I'm thrilled to be a part of the (stimulating)anthology. It was fun creating a new urban legend surrounding Tempest Gate Cemetery. Angels, demons, witches...

My costume? I have my white and gold angel wings on. Have to go with the theme. :)

Thanks for the party invitation! I'm here as a sexy celebrity waiting for Maks to come teach me how to dance. ;-) My refreshment offered is a bag of bite-sized Snickers because ... well, it's supposed to give you energy and I don't like to cook.

Hi, Ladies, all day Halloween Party! Yipee! I'm on a sugar high already. I'll be dressed up as the good witch, Glinda, from Wizard of Oz, in honor of my heroine in "I Love Pie." I will be serving 'Humble Pie which my heroine gave to her husband before she managed to get free of him. Here's where to go for the recipe: http://anesthesioboist.blogspot.com/2008/06/recipe-for-humble-pie.html

Great news just came in the email about our Sweet Halloween Anthology.
Laurie at Coffee Time Romance Review gave us four cups. Congrats Sweet Authors!

Hi Savanna, You are looking svelte and other-wordly in your costume. I would love to try your cinnamon brownies.

Lindsay, thanks so much for having us on your blog today and for the well wishes.

Hi Karen, you are everywhere today. LOL I love your angel wings and your story.

Hi Loraine,
Love your celebrity look and will it be a tango or a waltz? LOL
Bite-size snickers are definitely one of my favorites too.

Hi Kate, or should I say Glinda? I've got to hop over and see that recipe for Humble Pie.

Hi! This is Christine, author of "Memory Charmer and the Boy Next Door" from the Sweet Anthology. I'll probably be going again as Bloodmaiden, from my book, Bloodmaiden, lol. I'll be wearing my blood-red cape as seen on the cover. ^_^

Karen Michelle Nutt said...

Rebecca,

With wings I can make good time. lol

I'd come as a regency lady. Such pretty clothes that could make any woman look beautiful, even wearing a corset.

My favorite treat is lemon cake, but I'd have my husband make it. He's the one who can cook. *g*

Rebecca J Vickery said...

HI Christine and Linda,
I love your Bloodmaiden look, Christine.

And Linda, I would never make it getting into a corset. LOL The lemon cake sounds scrumptious.
