It has been a real joy working with Rebecca on the anthology. I really appreciate her ability to forgive my rather skewed version of happily ever after, and her willingness to include Feliz Navidad in the book.

Gabriel will be appearing in other stories down the line; long tales regarding who he is and how is past is always with him. But he will remain true to the woman he love, no matter what.

I hope you enjoy his story.

I've wanted for some time crank up the physical side of my love stories a bit, and Rebecca gave me the perfect opportunity with her more Stimulating line of Anthologies. I hope everyone loves my characters Carla and Howard the Astronaut as much as I do.

Hi everyone,
I'm so excited to be included in Rebecca's Christmas anthology collections! I have three stories in these anthologies and feel so honored that she accepted these stories and enabled me to share them with everyone.

HOMECOMING is my story in the sweet edition--it's a Christmas story with a very odd twist in it and takes place during the War Between the States. (histtorical)

SCARLET RIBBONS is in the sensual edition, and is the story of an ex-gunfighter who feels he is beyond redemption until he experiences his own unexpected miracle on Christmas Eve. (historical)

WHITE CHRISTMAS is my story in the spicy edition. It's the story of two lonely people who end up spending Christmas together unexpectedly and how love comes into their lives.

Every one of these collections includes a variety of short stories by some fantastic authors. I'm so glad to be a part of this group! Thanks for having us here, Lindsay!

Hi Lindsay,

Thank you so much for featuring the VTP anthologies. I loved working with Rebecca. Being an author herself, she has a natural empathy for all her authors.

I enjoyed writing "The Proposal" for the sensual anthology. I hope readers will enjoy reading about best friends, Jacqueline Andrews and Tyler Jordan. And there's a yummy cake recipe at the end of the story for readers.

Hi--I'm Celia Yeary, in the Sensual Anthology. My story is titled "Angel and the Cowboy." My heroine's name is Daniella, so who is "Angel?" Read this love story about a cowboy and a lovely young woman who knows her life has been a lie. Can she fit in? Will the man who walks into the Book and Tea Shoppe offer a new life? Celia

Hi, Lindsay! Thanks so very much for featuring all four of the VTP Christmas anthologies! These are some fantastic tales that will brighten up anyone's holiday.

I'm fortunate enough to have a story in the Spicy anthology entitled "The Hands of Time." It's a story that's been in my noodle for two years and was begging to be written and finished. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to publish it through VTP! *G*

LINDSAY, thank you for featuring our "Christmas Collection" books here. Rebecca is the best to work with, and Laura's covers are beautiful!

"Severed Hearts" is part of the sweet "A Christmas Collection."

I dedicate it to the memory of my brother, a Vietam Veteran, who passed away 3 years ago. Johnny had a similar experience and enlisted to flee heartbreak and humilitation.

Sad to say, my brother's love story didn't work out. (I often think that if he had married this young woman, his life would have been much happier.) But in "Severed Hearts" Johnny and Julie find their way back to each other.

I hope you readers enjoy this story and all the other awesome stories in these Christmas Collections.

Lindsay,

Thanks you so much for featuring us here. Aren't all the covers beautiful?

My story, Wanted is featured in the Stimulating anthology. The western paranormal is about a little girl who has visions and she dreamt about a new mother arriving in town. Only her father isn't so keen on the idea. Here's an short excerpt:
JoBeth leaned her back against the wall of the jail, stretching out her weary limbs on the cot. For the first time in ages, she didn’t fear for her life. Jace Kelly may be a sheriff, but he proved a man of honor. She couldn’t remember the last time anyone addressed her as a lady. She snorted with amusement. Do I call you Miss Maverick or is it Misses? God, the man was too polite for his own good. Nice on the eyes, too, with his sandy colored strands draped over his ears from lack of a trim. Blue-gray eyes looked at her with curiosity and not disdain. He stood perhaps six feet or close to it with a build that told her he didn’t sit behind his desk all day. She wondered if the good sheriff had a wife tucked away at home. Seemed like all the polite men did. They were snatched off the market the moment they were available.

“Papa, Papa.” A little cherub, in the lovely form of a child came traipsing in the door. Her blonde braided-ponytails bobbed behind her like a flag. She flew into Sheriff Jace Kelly’s outstretched arms.

“Hello darlin’.” His large arms encircled the little girl with affection. “Where’s Mrs. Gunthry?”

“Oh, you know how her old bones don’t move so fast. She’s right behind me, only not so close ’cause I ran.” Her lips curved into a bright toothless grin.

So the sheriff was married. Had a little girl too. She was cute as a button with rosy cheeks and big blue eyes, a brighter blue than her father’s. As if the little girl sensed someone staring at her, she turned. Her gaze fastened onto JoBeth before widening in surprise.
She tilted her head to the side then squealed in delight, clapping her hands together as if someone handed her a present. “She’s here. She’s really here.”

JoBeth’s brows drew together in a frown. She turned to look beside her, half expecting someone to be standing next to the cot. Her gaze fastened onto the little girl once more with a frown.

“Now, Emma, don’t be making this out to be something it’s not.”
Her hand went to her mouth, cupping it as if she were going to whisper, but her voice rang clear as day. “She has dark hair and green eyes. Didn’t you notice?”

JoBeth looked at Jace and by damn he turned two shades of red. Interesting. She looked at Emma again. Who did the child think she was?”

“That’s enough, Emma. We’ll talk about this later.”

“But she’s my Christmas present.” Her hands flew to her waist and she stomped her foot with indignation.

JoBeth’s brows rose on their own accord. A Christmas present, now this she had to hear.
