Semper Fi Christmas - A Military take on 'A Christmas Carol'

Gunnery Sergeant Robert Christmas, career Marine and hard corps patriot finds himself disgruntled during the holiday season. To bury his disgust he escapes from the hype and commercialization by drinking alone in the only saloon he can find open on Christmas Eve, the Ebenezer Inn. The holiday season is always the most difficult time for Gunny Christmas, not only due to past events, but because of the name he shares with the most celebrated season in the world.

However, this holiday season is different as men and women visit Gunny from his past bringing painful memories to light.

It takes the wise words of a wily old bartender to bring Gunny Christmas’ chaos full circle. He warns the gray haired Marine of his ultimate end if he didn’t change his ways.

I'm so glad Kent finally put this story out. You won't be disappointed. This is my favorite story of his.I met Kent several years ago during NANO. He's an Air Force retiree who lives in upper New York with his wife and son.
