WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS

Blurb ~

Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012 – The end of the Mayan Calendar

What happens when a world weary, worn out incarnated angel, Sedona, who believes she is merely human has three choices after her old van breaks down? Let the Nazerazzi squad of the North American Union capture her and force her into a FEMA concentration camp? Walk out into the Arizona night desert, let the wildlife have a good meal, with the hope her death will be quick? Or does Sedona trust the mysterious stranger suddenly before her? Handsome as sin and all in black, he emerges from the darkness astride a super-speed black motorcycle.

Is he her savior from the brutal hell of end times, or is he a roving cult member of the New World Order, hunting his next blood sacrifice?
Sent from heaven to help her save humanity, Zerr Dann knows the Divine is playing its last card on Earth.

Forecasts for the New Year, 2010

Yes, Volcano has returned with another forecast that will, hopefully, give you a head start on the New Year, 2010. For more info about Volcano and his Angelic Forecasts, take a look at my blog ~ Christmas Angelic Forecast by Volcano ~

First, though, this is my New Year’s forecast ~

With the influence of the full moon arriving on New Year’s Eve, everything will have a bright intensity throughout the year. The moon’s silvery brilliance, like a spotlight, will be aimed upon world events, providing the opportunity for a real behind-the-scenes view.
The full moon’s influence will also shine upon the area’s of your life that require the most attention, the problematic areas and also, where you can shine like a star.

For all of us romance authors, this year offers us an expanded voice, meaning we will have the opportunity to grow and show off our individual storytelling voices in wonderful and exciting ways that were previously not available.
The romance genre, itself, will expand beyond the expectations of most, with the themes of the Aquarian Age becoming the fastest growing trends.
Whatever makes the reader feel good and takes her above her troubles, as in the feel-good movies of the 1930s, will become more and more popular. Think elegance, supper clubs and dressing to the nines.
Romantic comedies and those stories with comedic elements will also be in demand. However, the real opportunity is for a different take on humor, for example, the sophisticated comedy meets life in 2010, or life in the future and on OtherWorlds.
Everything retro, from Regencies to Westerns, will continue to skyrocket in popularity.
Historical romance novels, especially those with paranormal elements, from magic to shapeshifting, will know a significant rise.
Space Opera romance novels fused with other subgenres, I predict, will become another shooting star, as well.

Happy Writing in the New Year!
~~~~~~
Volcano’s Angelic Forecast for the New Year, 2010
This is the beginning of the end. The Aquarian Age asserts its dominance in this year of 2010, this year of THREE in numerology. A new demand for freedom and for communities based on beneficial cooperation will take over what has been, the old business and lifestyle models that no longer work.
This demand for freedom will take on the characteristics of water, appearing like a giant tidal wave or becoming a flashflood that will crash and smash through anything in its way.
The gentler aspects of water will also reign. A sweet rain that cleanses the body and spirit remains as an energetic possibility for everyone throughout the year.
The time has come for all of us to quench the thirst that lives inside of us. We crave a world that works for everyone. Not in the form of an iron fist that dictates how we live, what we do and we how do it. But, a world where we all live by our own generous natures, by offering our loving hearts to each other... and by connecting more deeply with our spiritual selves.
It is time to live in harmony with each other by singing our own individual songs and by joining in with the overall song of the community.
In this year of THREE, all forms of communication are highlighted in your personal world and in the outer world.
Take advantage of this precious energy. Clear up misunderstandings and say those things your heart would say. Also, discover all those ways that assist you in communicating, whether it’s using technology or speaking your poetic soul on a sheet of decorative paper.
Look for mighty roars coming from the world stage, roars of sound that sweep like barreling storm winds across the globe.
Truth and justice arrive like mighty roars of the Tiger, seeking to prevail above the dark forces that will also roar and bluster and seek to rule over us all.
This year, laughter will often be the best medicine. Encourage your own inner comedian/comedienne to emerge fully, or simply come out of the closet. Any good humor will be highly appreciated. As will good times.
So, let the good times roll... “and roll up, roll up for the magical mystery tour, step right this way. Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour” ~ as the Beatles would say.
In this year of 2010, remember, you don’t need an invitation for a celebration.
Christmas Angelic Forecast by Volcano
Holiday greetings to everyone! I hope the magic of the season has embraced you and is a sweet sustenance for your soul.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Volcano, my hero in WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS, he’s what is called a carnal cherub. He’s particularly fond of Earth and of humanity, as his father was and remains. Of course, Volcano’s love for his Sedona binds him even more to the spiritual well-being of our world and he let me know over a year ago he wanted to provide weekly angelic forecasts.
If you’re interested in learning more about the Angelic realm and what angelic readings and/or forecasts are, I suggest you do an internet search on Dr. Doreen Virtue, as a start.
Late Sunday or early Monday, I post Volcano’s weekly Angelic Forecasts at the Siren-BookStrand blog and on Siren’s Yahoo loop. Monday late night, I put his forecast on my blog. Occasionally, I post on other promo loops. Yep, I’ve only got so many hours in the day.
There are several reasons why I indulge my character, Volcano. One main reason ~ it’s fun for me to mentally live in his realm and to feel his divine reality. I enjoy staying in contact with both Sedona and Volcano. Currently, Sedona is learning how to use her angel wings in the material density of Earth. Not so easy.
Just like characters surprise their author with their actions or reactions, I rarely have an idea of what Volcano is going to say in his forecasts. Once in a while, he gives me a clue or an insight prior to writing it each Sunday. No, my role as his author conduit, is to sit before the computer monitor and let it flow out. My role also includes how to logically express what it is Volcano is saying, so that, hopefully, it’s understandable to us precious humans.
Some of you are likely to feel... if you’ve gotten this far... that this is pure ridiculous hogwash. It’s just more paranormal crap that you have no interest in. Because of my personal experiences, I can’t discount the so-called paranormal and remain true to myself.
I simply ask you to take a look. I ask you to live the fantasy. Please enjoy, and take only what you want from Volcano’s forecast.
Volcano’s Angelic Forecast for Christmas 2009
Angelic Forecast ~
For this Christmas season, or this holiday season of 2009, your opportunity is to raise your love frequencies. What does this mean? Currently everything is in expansion. In the age of Aquarius it’s all about more love, more freedom and more true community with each other.
Now is the time to expand beyond your past boundaries. Now is the time to *love* bigger and better than ever before. Your heart is expanding with all the angelic vibrations being bestowed upon the Earth and her people.
Specifically, look for ways to act more loving, especially to all your loved ones, pets included. And, be open to receiving more love from others. Be gracious, smile and accept their loving regard. This will mean more to them than any other gift they could receive from you.
You’ll notice, more and more, a yearning to know and understand your own heart as it expands with love energies. If you focus on these sweet and powerful energies, it will connect you to others in new and exciting ways. That is the real magic of Christmas and the holiday season this year.
How Special is December 21, 2012... the end of the Mayan Calendar?
Well, there’s the new movie. It’s going gangbusters, right now. No, I haven’t seen it and I’m not certain I really want to, given some of the comments I’ve heard. No, cell phones wouldn’t work the way they’re portrayed. So, really, how realistic is the catastrophic depiction?
Hollywood wants the blockbuster. The mega money. The movie isn’t about a probable well-researched outcome. It’s about what will bring in the millions, maybe billions of dollars. Any measure of real truth is sacrificed.
On paranormal radio programs, like Coast to Coast am and Unknown Country, for example, 2012 is one of the big! hot in-demand topics that a lot of us want to learn everything we can about. And, there is tons o’ info out there. There are comprehensive books by well-known investigators in the alternative fields. And, of course, if you search in internet land, you’ll find a veritable banquet of opinion, prophecy and hard astronomy data about 12-21-2012.
Did you know, as reported by the incomparable, hard-data researcher, Richard C. Hoagland of http://enterprisemission.com/, and author of the New York Times bestseller, Dark Mission... at least, from one of his trusted inside sources, there is a 2012 desk at the CIA? Supposedly, it’s been there for a long, long time. Okay, how weird would it be if someone at the CIA has read WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS, my 2012 erotic romance novel?
Actually, not so far-fetched, given there are black op agencies that keep track of all the fictional novels in the sci fi or paranormal subgenres. So, what do they know that we don’t? Yes, authors do write their personal stories as fiction like Whitley Strieber did in his novel, The Grays. Hey, maybe, that’s what they’re looking for. Maybe...? Since, it wouldn’t be the first time a novel has given an accurate picture of the future. Nope, that’s occurred repeatedly.
Of course, I’m deeply prejudicial. However, I think my 2012 novel is far superior to the movie, and has a more profound message. How come? It’s really quite simple. I did lots of research, in fact, it’s been a lifetime’s worth of research. And, yes, some of my life’s experiences are included as part of the story. It’s as truthful a telling about the future, even though it’s an angelic fantasy, as I could imagine, then pen.
For Sedona, my heroine in WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS, December 2012, the 21st, could be called miraculously special for her in several ways. Finding love with Volcano, her carnal cherub hero, is the most special, of course.
For an idea just how special meeting Volcano is for Sedona, here’s the beginning of their story ~
PG excerpt:
“Have a holly jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year,” Sedona badly sang, just to dryly entertain herself. “Especially if you’re seasonally depressed and have no vitamin D,” she sarcastically stretched. “Oh by golly, 2012‘s not Christmas holly, oh by golly, the endtimes aren’t jolly. Is our salvation just unholy folly?”
Sedona drove along the old one-lane highway southwest of what used to be Flagstaff, Arizona. Once the catastrophes lined up like the breadlines, it had become a FEMA /military base of operation. She had been fortunate to bypass the checkpoints without being stopped, and hauled off to the closest camp, then forced into some ungodly way of existence. Death was always preferable. And few her age cared anymore. No reason, no reason, at all.
As usual she wondered about the great mystery. Why? Why am I still alive? In these unbelievably ugly times, with evil alive and well everywhere. Is it the grace of Goddess?
It could only be grace. Only some strange miraculous grace that she still lived. The why of it? Sedona possessed no earthly clue.
True, she could summon psychic abilities as naturally as she breathed, in certain crucial instances, especially healing. Whenever the soft glow of ‘knowing’ occurred inside her, she could simply touch a person or an animal, and the healing would instantly take place. Yet, she couldn’t just heal anyone who needed it. And certainly, her abilities didn’t compare to other well-known Psychic/Healers.
Still, she’d never fit in, not anywhere. And talk about choosing the ‘road less traveled’, she could be the iconic poster person on that book cover. Not that real books were available these days, except on the dangerous black market.
Briefly, Sedona shook her head, wanting to get rid of the angst over her survival. In truth, she envied all those who died, their spirits traveling to the other side. Human or animal, it didn’t matter. Sedona envied them. Especially when she saw all the corpses, common now, and literally piled up the world over. She blessed them all to heaven and desperately wished, aching-wished she could join them.
But she never had. Not yet.
Sighing, Sedona watched the impressive light show in the night sky. All around her asteroids arced constantly, some flashing out before they struck. Most of the stars couldn’t be seen, hidden by the ash haze of Mexico’s erupting volcanoes, hellish explosions she’d watched on an illegal TV feed. While hard on her lungs and eyes, the ash made the spy satellites useless, a victory in her book, since it impeded the net tight control of Homeland Security.
The steady rain of asteroids for the last thirty-five days had been strangely beautiful, yet deadly to large land areas on Earth, and sometimes to remaining population centers. Yet, it also prevented the Homeland Hordes from rounding up the desired or eliminating the undesired. Slowly enough not to trigger the watch beams, her old early ‘90s van clumped along. Five years ago Sedona had eliminated every electronic device, and replaced the engine with an antique which had been converted to use water as fuel, although now, clean water was scarce in most places.
No electronics, no herd-control implanted chips, and a lot less chance of being caught, then charged with a crime against the state. Any crime, it didn’t matter anymore. Jaywalking could be considered a crime against the state, even a possible terrorist act.
Recently a man had been convicted as a terrorist for halting the progress of an enforcement vehicle, and sent away to the most grueling work station, simply because he jaywalked. That was life inside what some now called and accepted as the North American Union.
Sedona didn’t accept it. Had never accepted it. She had neutralized every chip. But she couldn’t fight as a New Rebel either, even though she had trained the last five years to a high fitness level.
Sixty-one years of age, she no longer had the stamina needed for that noble sacrifice. The New Rebels were always on the run, or attacking. Nor did she have the tech expertise, the brilliance to manipulate the big brother chips and the Darth Vader web systems.
Having no family left, and not much of anything left, with her land stolen by the police state since it still produced crops, Sedona helped out wherever she could. And merely existed. Now she drove to a friend’s hidden sanctuary, invited when they’d managed to talk over a shortwave radio.
Sedona grimaced at the irony of driving through Sedona, her namesake. Now deserted, the new age haven had been brutally wiped out by the New World Order’s bio-terrorism. Yep, the message had been cruelly delivered to all those who believed in sacred-creating an enlightened global order.
In 2012 fear reigned. For most everyone.
Seeing no one, she drove in silence. Even having an old radio on, if a signal could be snagged, upped her chances of being caught. “Run silent, run deep,” she quoted, ignoring the eery chill in her gut.
“Fear rules everything. Okay, maybe not for those lucky enough to be at Maya Toga Days,” she mumbled, half-elated, half-repulsed by the idea. “Maybe a big fat miracle or two. The great solar flare of enlightenment courtesy of sun cycle 24.” She took a breath, musing. “I don’t suppose they have Christmas tree lights on the pyramid. Serpent lights, yeah, that’s the ticket. The ticket to paradise. The tree of life. Let’s all jump for joy. It’s a new kind of holly jolly Christmas. The garden of Eden returned, where the feathered serpents are Santas, delivering toys.”
“Oh no.” Despair settled in her stomach like a rock. Her van slowed, clunking offensive loud noises. “It’s a good day to die. Good night to die.”
Her own whisper knifed her insides, as she guided the rolling van toward the crumbling edge of the neglected highway. “Maybe the coyotes will get me first. Rather feed the wildlife,” she muttered.
~~~~~~

Excerpt #2 -

Before Sedona could take more than a few steps, the cycle rider appeared, a whispering hum of sound. No lights, the cycle and the rider’s garments blended in with the night. Ten feet in front of her, the rider seemed to wait for her to approach. Obviously, this was no Homeland Nazi. She would have been on the ground, tasered, and probably dead. Certainly twitching in agony.

Tensed to escape, she watched the rider remove his or her helmet. His helmet. He looked young from what she could see. Not a whole helluva lot, since the darkness ruled all.

“Get on,” he invited. “Looks like you need a friendly lift.”

Good Lord, his voice melted her insides. The movie star caliber of Tom Cruise, only better. Or what used to be considered movie star sexy. Not anymore. You might as well have Hitler speaking English in the current horror offering of movies to the mind-numbed public.

“I could be dangerous,” she answered, trying to decide—not like there were many options. Him or Homeland, or run toward land she couldn’t really see worth an effing damn. She took a few steps toward him. If he was going to kill her, maybe it would be quick.

“The Nazerazzi are more dangerous,” he offered, his tone practical. “And on their way. Enough room behind me for you and your bag.”

Sedona sighed loudly, and decisively moved toward him. “Old Spice,” she awe-muttered. “Where did you find that?”

“Dad’s stuff.”

Reaching back, he slid open the compartment, and Sedona stuffed her bag inside. “Goddess!” she warned. The searching lights of Homeland Security Hummers blazed in the distance Instantly, he closed the compartment, and she swung behind him.

“Tight,” he commanded as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

“Rebel?” she asked, just before he peeled out, then veered away from the advancing headlight’s phalanx. Sedona squeezed her eyes closed, feeling the wind whip over her. When she opened them, they flew over the land. And off the highway. No wheels beneath them.

Cool as rare cucumbers, she thought. Rich rebel?

Behind them she heard the drone trackers, the slight whistling. If she screamed to him about their presence, that would only make it worse, and make tracking them easier. Suddenly they soared through a narrow rock arch. And she heard the drones smash like giant wasps. Relieved, she sang inside with the temporary victory.

Slowing his cycle, her maybe rescuer executed a ninety degree turn to the left, then they streaked through an immense canyon. Sedona only knew because he beamed his lights, a dim wide-sweeping radiance. Slowing again, he slid them through a small cave entrance. Quickly they cruised a winding irregular path through cave tunnels.

Fear began in the pit of her stomach. But it was too late now. Was she about to be blood sacrificed to one of the New World Order cults? Their underground compounds snaked throughout the continent.

Her blood freezing at the thought, she also knew part of her didn’t care. Goddess help her, she was so tired, and so horribly worn out. The long sleep of death, who would care? Or, waking up on the other side to loved ones seemed more than welcome, just given her probable future. Too bad and so sad, in a bizarre way. From what she could feel clinging to him, the young man would be as movie star sexy as his voice.

Mmm-mmm, he did feel hunk-delicious.

Sacrificed by an evil could-be movie star, to the rise of the New World Order. There was something hideously ironic about that. But she couldn’t think clearly or cleverly what. Just too bad this wasn’t one of her fantasies. Where he starred as the good guy who wanted her body, wanted her real damn bad. Like Rhett carrying Scarlett up the stairs, bad. Wanted her body as it had once been, and hotly, passionately ravished her. Yeah, too bad.

Everything was too bad. The whole world was too bad, now. She tried to forget about her life, what had been. She tried to forget everyone, everything she’d lost. God, when she remembered, the horror of it all ripped through her, unbearable excruciating pain. Sedona wondered if the blood sacrifice would be as painful.

Most days she wondered how she even stood up, and kept going. Maybe her life, everything she’d endured, would be worth it, if she could save the world. Maybe worth it. Sedona had her doubts. Still, how often had she wished she could save the world, and truly help people? The number of stars in the sky? Oh, how she’d tried her best and with her whole heart. Now, she was just too darn old.

They stopped inside a small empty cavern. Warm, it was luminous enough to see. The cycle settled perfectly, and remained upright.

“We’ll walk the rest of way. Are you okay?” He removed his helmet and turned back to her when she released his waist.

“What are you going to do with me?” She leaned back, stared at his features, handsome and adorable. Almost magical.

“Protect you, angelic one.”

Sedona blinked, his voice inflection utterly unfamiliar to her, not to mention the kindness of his tone. Swinging her leg over, she slid off the cycle. “You don’t want me for some sort of sick blood sacrifice?”

“I am not your enemy, Sedona.” He gleamed a brief smile, then easily dismounted. Opening the compartment, he took out her bag.

She stepped back, and kept staring. “How do you know my name. Or the name I now use?”

“I am on assignment. My sacred duty is to protect you.”

He lifted her bag beneath one arm, then faced her. Reaching out, he removed her hood, his touch extreme gentleness.

“Why?” she stammered, as much from his touch, as by his extraordinarily beautiful eyes. Purple midnight, silvered. He wasn’t merely Earth human. Whoever, whatever he was?

“The future of Earth depends upon it.”

Zerr Dann Volcano ~ Before His Mission on Earth

Yes, my hero in WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS is an odd breed. Rare in the angelic realms, Zerr Dann Volcano is called a Carnal Cherub because he’s able to operate in the material realms of planet-worlds and in the etheric worlds with equal effectiveness.
A touch of research reveals that originally Cherubs, or the Cherubim, were fierce take-no-prisoner warriors, before morphing into the adorable little guys of today.
Besides, who better to rescue my angel heroine, fallen to Earth, than a Carnal Cherub?

Since I love exploring the past, present and future of my heroines and heroes, I couldn’t resist writing the following scene... with a nudge from Volcano... okay, many nudges. Because heck, I’d been wanting to know what mission Volcano had accomplished so impressively that he was assigned the Earth Mission: 2012 Ominous ~ despite being called a ‘pup’ warrior because of his youth and inexperience.

Note: Zerr Dann is Volcano’s angelic name, which means volcano.

~~~~~~
Zerr Dann Volcano ~ Before His Mission on Earth
“Want to earn your big angel wings?” Raich Naell thundered a jovial laugh. Spinning himself into a magnificent whirlwind for his own pleasure, he halted on the point of a star beam, his fearsome gaze directed at his only nephew.
“Bigger and blacker than they already are?” Zerr Dann drily grinned, rising from the tall, stainless steel stool. Around him, the few late night customers inside the Route 66 diner were suspended in mid-action.
“Earn those black-as-sin wings of yours, several sizes bigger, and you’ll be considered for an Earth mission of supreme importance.” Floating near the ceiling, Raich Naell spread his silver-gilded wings majestically, framing his handsome physique.
“Mission 2012 Ominous?” Zerr Dann arched his brows. He unfurled his ebony wings in preparation for traveling through the dimensional layers. The opportunity his uncle offered would be instantaneous.
Raich Naell glowered, a mere speck of time on Earth in this year labeled 2009. “Your father speaks too freely.”
“Earth is a favored planet culture of his. A bastion of freedom compared to many.” Zerr Dann never backed down before those more elevated in the Angelic Realm. It wasn’t his nature. In that way he was a fierce chip off the ole block.
Winging higher, he regarded the thunderous, yet sublime features of his uncle. He served Archangel Michael as one of The Carnal High. A watcher over many material worlds, his faithfulness was cherished and relied upon. Although, he rarely got a wing tip dirty by interacting with the sentient humanoids, always summoning Carnal Cherubs like Zerr Dann.
“Freedom,” Raich Naell boomed. The sound circled Earth several times. “Free those of the Light Souls from their prison. Defeat the Triad Demons before the planet, Taijos, enters the next galactic time phase and I will place your name before the Divine Council.”
“Done. As seen by All Eyes.”
Zerr Dann agreed before he considered his destiny. For one reason, he knew dark days descended on Earth like the locust plagues of old.
***
Incorporeal in form, Zerr Dann dived through the layers of darkness toward the pastoral farming world. The black energy attempted to feed on him, to suck on his divine force and transmute it for use by the Triad Demons.
Savage as a torrent of tsunamis, the layers attacked him as he neared the underground labyrinth that was being used as a prison for the Light Souls, the small part of the population still clinging to their angelic natures.
Zerr Dann flashed to his corporeal body, his feet striking the ground. Momentarily surprised his wings emerged, he strengthened them by blazing his warrior light to the pointed tips. At the same time he absorbed the unique vibrations of Taijos.
Creating his fiery battle sword, he imbued it with his pure intent, the defeat of the Triad Demons and the liberation of the Light Souls. Only his ability to remain focused would assure him a swift and impressive victory. Allowing another thought to intrude and steal his mind for even the wink of a star could mean ages of battle. So his father had trained him.
The roar of screams, millions of them gathered from the enslaved population, cycloned around him. The shrieks of terror were designed to distract him long enough for the Demons to mount an attack. Dismissing the sound, Zerr Dann streaked through the air, winging toward the main gate of the labyrinth.
With back and forth swipes of his sword, he flew through the contingent of demon-possessed guards. Their souls hissed in agony for a moment, then were saved, collected by the death angels ringing the world.
Horrendous rumbles of sound shot up from the ground below him. A chasm formed, ripping apart the land. Only the constant prayers of the Light Souls stopped their deaths and the rending obliteration of their prison.
Aiming his intent through the point of his sword, Zerr Dann dissolved the labyrinth’s heavy metal gate. The crisscross of bars turned white and disappeared, returned to dust.
Huddled together, the first group of people stared in paralyzed shock until understanding dawned on them. As soon as they could, they ran stumbling toward freedom.
Zerr Dann arrowed his flight. Near light speed now, he fired lightning bolts through several rock walls creating a direct path out of the prison for the next group of people, then the next until he arrived at the last group, priests and priestesses who had defied the evil claiming their world. Standing bravely, they faced the three demons.
The sheer physical beauty of the Triad Demons nearly caused his downfall. They’d taken the shapes of goddesses, the very ones that lusted his loins and caused him to feel inebriated with euphoria. Beyond that, they’d soaked themselves in the beauty of every man, woman and child they’d enslaved or devoured.
The remnants of their latest feeding littered the high stone altar. Three severed hands, a leg from the knee down. Pieces of bloody flesh not quite to their taste. One head rested on the bloody stump of its neck. It was the head of a priest.
Flattening his wings, Zerr Dann spun upwards, his sword held straight above his head. A shield of starfire brilliance surrounded him as he whirled toward the tornadic advance of the three demons. They’d returned to their first form and their shadow physiology sucked at his force like the blackholes that tunneled into hellish dimensions.
Acting on intent rather than thought, Zerr Dann spiraled his soul’s light outward. His white flames sliced through the Triad Demon’s vortex-slashing attack. Once a multitude of his slashes weakened their horrific level of power, he halted his spin.
Charging, he plunged his sword through one demon. It faded into the ethers howling a death scream. In the fragment of time it took him to whip around, the black dagger composed of their evil deeds, seared through his shoulder. Its poisonous frequencies spread as Zerr Dann stabbed the tip of his lightning blade into the demon’s throat.
Partially transformed into one of the goddesses, it landed with a thud on the labyrinth floor, then disintegrated. Slowed by the darkness infecting him, Zerr Dann dropped and stood amid the priests and priestesses.
Determination coiled though him as he faced the beautiful goddess, his fiery blade poised. She smiled, the epitome of every woman he’d ever loved, ever desired, ever cared for.
With one long fast-as-the-wind strike, he beheaded her. Falling on all fours, his sword lost to its deed, Zerr Dann retched, a brutal quaking of his flesh. He felt the priests and priestesses gather around him. Rapidly laying their hands on his body and his wings, they chanted prayers for his healing. As one sacred force.
Gratitude overwhelmed Zerr Dann and became a tidal force through his Being. He rose up.
WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS
Blurb ~
Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012 – The end of the Mayan Calendar
What happens when a world weary, worn out incarnated angel, Sedona, who believes she is merely human has three choices after her old van breaks down? Let the Nazerazzi squad of the North American Union capture her and force her into a FEMA concentration camp? Walk out into the Arizona night desert, let the wildlife have a good meal, with the hope her death will be quick? Or does Sedona trust the mysterious stranger suddenly before her? Handsome as sin and all in black, he emerges from the darkness astride a super-speed black motorcycle.
Is he her savior from the brutal hell of end times, or is he a roving cult member of the New World Order, hunting his next blood sacrifice?
Sent from heaven to help her save humanity, Zerr Dann knows the Divine is playing its last card on Earth.
Spring 2013 ~ Sedona and Volcano
I confess I miss my heroine and heroes... and their worlds, once I’ve finished their story and its entered book-landia. I wish I owned more time to visit, to continue writing their lives and their love story.
I planned to do Book II, after WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS ~ where I follow the further 2012-2013 adventures of Sedona, my incarnated angel, and her hero, the carnal cherub, Volcano.
Lack of time and energy hasn’t allowed me to fully write that story, yet. So, for fun, I’ve written several scenes centered around the holidays, staring Sedona and Volcano.
The following little scene was written with the theme for this weekend’s Siren-BookStrand extravaganza in mind. If you want excerpts galore and authors ready to answer any question a reader or another author might have, come on by ~ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SirenBookstrand ~
May 2013 ~
“Spring.” Sedona whirled a few steps over the emerging green shoots of the high mountain prairie. Her arms were outstretched in lighthearted joy. Aru frisked behind her, still wanting to leap and play as they had been doing. “I never thought I’d get to feel Spring again,” she called over to Volcano. “Or feel the sun this way.”
Opening his arms, Volcano smiled as his angel woman twirled toward him. Enthusiastically, she flung herself against him, and he trapped her delectable body against his. His mouth captured hers, as her mouth seized his, in a long impassioned kiss that left them both heaving their breaths. Their gazes locked for long moments, their love for each other a living force between them. The remembrance of their night’s lusty pleasures sparked between them, words unnecessary.
“On the road again,” he deeply murmured. Stroking her back clad in the supernatural leather jacket he’d created for her, he remained immersed in her celestial turquoise eyes.
“Off to steal the bad guy’s gold,” she returned, her eyes radiant with excitement and trepidation.
“Butch Volcano and the Sundance Angel,” he roughly purred, then felt the corners of his mouth lift into a grin.
Aru chortled loudly, wanting to be included. When they both looked at him, he waggled his curled tail, and eased into his *I’m absolutely adorable* pose, his front legs flat on the ground, his rear end high in the air.
“Baby Butch Aru,” Sedona cooed, “come on. We couldn’t do without your help.” Turning out of Volcano’s embrace, she offered Aru her arms. With a sassy flip of his tail, he stood and sprang into her arms.
Volcano aimed his finger at his black super-cycle humming on the power. Kissing Aru’s head, Sedona carefully placed their baby dog inside his carry-compartment, complete with his bed cushion.
Looping his arm around his Sedona’s hourglass waist, Volcano hauled her against him briefly. Their eyes flared hotly with desire, their bodies sizzling vibrations back and forth, a recent development because her love for him had grown significantly. Gripping her waist, he swung her astride the Cycle, then mounted in front of her. She tightened her arms around him and within an instant, he sailed them toward super-speed.
Flight, he telepathed the warning.
Flight... off the mountain? She returned, squeezing him like the sweetest vise.
Yes, my Sundance Angel. We’re going inside the gold vault.
Volcano brought up the protective bubble shield, increased the Cycle’s speed and launched them off the mountain’s ledge into the thin dry atmosphere. Ahead of them, the Roitruv’s inter-dimensional craft slanted toward the mountain peak’s galactic alien base. The waver-craft as it was called, because it looked like translucent scintillating patterns, signaled the base using flash beams that were nearly invisible.
Volcano heightened their frequencies placing them in the invisible realm while soaring toward the Roitruv craft. Attaching the Cycle to the craft’s plasma-magnetic field, he monitored the internal sensors to make certain they weren’t discovered. Before them, the mountainside opened, a slit which widened gradually to accommodate the size of the Roitruv’s transport craft.
The plasma wind from the waver-craft sluiced over them, whispers of sound around them as they slipped within the mammoth-sized base behind the Roitruv warriors. Volcano induced Aru into a deep sleep, then slid the Cycle over the top of the halted and hovering craft. He shot toward the tunnel-like corridor that would take them inside the Bargaining Room, where many intergalactic races traded favors with the Illuminatti Globalists for the gold of Earth.
