Spring 2013 ~ Sedona and Volcano

I confess I miss my heroine and heroes... and their worlds, once I’ve finished their story and its entered book-landia. I wish I owned more time to visit, to continue writing their lives and their love story.
I planned to do Book II, after WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS ~ where I follow the further 2012-2013 adventures of Sedona, my incarnated angel, and her hero, the carnal cherub, Volcano.
Lack of time and energy hasn’t allowed me to fully write that story, yet. So, for fun, I’ve written several scenes centered around the holidays, staring Sedona and Volcano.
The following little scene was written with the theme for this weekend’s Siren-BookStrand extravaganza in mind. If you want excerpts galore and authors ready to answer any question a reader or another author might have, come on by ~ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SirenBookstrand ~

May 2013 ~

“Spring.” Sedona whirled a few steps over the emerging green shoots of the high mountain prairie. Her arms were outstretched in lighthearted joy. Aru frisked behind her, still wanting to leap and play as they had been doing. “I never thought I’d get to feel Spring again,” she called over to Volcano. “Or feel the sun this way.”

Opening his arms, Volcano smiled as his angel woman twirled toward him. Enthusiastically, she flung herself against him, and he trapped her delectable body against his. His mouth captured hers, as her mouth seized his, in a long impassioned kiss that left them both heaving their breaths. Their gazes locked for long moments, their love for each other a living force between them. The remembrance of their night’s lusty pleasures sparked between them, words unnecessary.

“On the road again,” he deeply murmured. Stroking her back clad in the supernatural leather jacket he’d created for her, he remained immersed in her celestial turquoise eyes.

“Off to steal the bad guy’s gold,” she returned, her eyes radiant with excitement and trepidation.
“Butch Volcano and the Sundance Angel,” he roughly purred, then felt the corners of his mouth lift into a grin.

Aru chortled loudly, wanting to be included. When they both looked at him, he waggled his curled tail, and eased into his *I’m absolutely adorable* pose, his front legs flat on the ground, his rear end high in the air.

“Baby Butch Aru,” Sedona cooed, “come on. We couldn’t do without your help.” Turning out of Volcano’s embrace, she offered Aru her arms. With a sassy flip of his tail, he stood and sprang into her arms.

Volcano aimed his finger at his black super-cycle humming on the power. Kissing Aru’s head, Sedona carefully placed their baby dog inside his carry-compartment, complete with his bed cushion.

Looping his arm around his Sedona’s hourglass waist, Volcano hauled her against him briefly. Their eyes flared hotly with desire, their bodies sizzling vibrations back and forth, a recent development because her love for him had grown significantly. Gripping her waist, he swung her astride the Cycle, then mounted in front of her. She tightened her arms around him and within an instant, he sailed them toward super-speed.

Flight, he telepathed the warning.

Flight... off the mountain? She returned, squeezing him like the sweetest vise.

Yes, my Sundance Angel. We’re going inside the gold vault.

Volcano brought up the protective bubble shield, increased the Cycle’s speed and launched them off the mountain’s ledge into the thin dry atmosphere. Ahead of them, the Roitruv’s inter-dimensional craft slanted toward the mountain peak’s galactic alien base. The waver-craft as it was called, because it looked like translucent scintillating patterns, signaled the base using flash beams that were nearly invisible.

Volcano heightened their frequencies placing them in the invisible realm while soaring toward the Roitruv craft. Attaching the Cycle to the craft’s plasma-magnetic field, he monitored the internal sensors to make certain they weren’t discovered. Before them, the mountainside opened, a slit which widened gradually to accommodate the size of the Roitruv’s transport craft.

The plasma wind from the waver-craft sluiced over them, whispers of sound around them as they slipped within the mammoth-sized base behind the Roitruv warriors. Volcano induced Aru into a deep sleep, then slid the Cycle over the top of the halted and hovering craft. He shot toward the tunnel-like corridor that would take them inside the Bargaining Room, where many intergalactic races traded favors with the Illuminatti Globalists for the gold of Earth.
